The Acidtrophic Lake, a two channel video installation sees a women embark on a journey where she encounters a man sitting within a forest. Upon their meeting the man rises and faces her, she lifts his arm and cuts the burden of the Western business suit from his body. The work explores the removal of patrilineal symbols form the world whilst presenting moments from a chronological feminist history.

BSOD acknowledges the traditional owners of the lands we work on across Australia, and we pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging. We respect the power of country and its value and meaning to indiginous people of lutruwita / Tasmania, and across Australia.
